Bible reading has sadly become a lost art and discipline among modern Christians.
Researchers George Gallup and Jim Castelli put the problem soberly:
Americans revere the Bible—but, by and large, they don’t read it. And because they don’t read it, they have become a nation of biblical illiterates.
It seems we are becoming illiterate in the Bible—the revelation of who God is, what He’s done, and what it means for us to know Him and truly live. This is a sad reality.
This is why we are inviting you to participate with us as we read the Bible together in 2023.
You don’t have to be a member of our church to join us. We are following a Five Day Reading Plan and working through the entire biblical narrative one day at a time. If you commit to only 15 minutes of reading per day, you will get through the whole Bible in a year! Join us on the Church Center app, and we’ll point you to great reading helps and study resources along the way to help you with this spiritual goal.

The Five Day Bible Reading Schedule’s secret is that you only have to read five times a week, not every day. This allows time for catching up, taking a day off, read other parts of the Bible to prepare for Bible class, etc. Read the entire Bible or just the New Testament – it’s your choice and it is easier than ever to accomplish!
Sticking with a plan like this one is about a daily commitment to opening your heart and mind to God. This is a discipline essential to all disciples of Jesus.
Join a discussion group
We have two virtual discussion groups where you can share your reading insights, ask questions, and see what others are learning as we work our way through the reading plan together. We are utilizing The Church Center platform. You will use your email to log in.
We have two groups: one for men, and one for women.

Not a great reader? Not a problem! While reading the Scriptures for yourself is the ideal way to get into the Word, you might find it helpful to listen to the daily readings instead (or in addition to). KXC is partnered with Dwell Bible App, a helpful resource to help you listen through the Bible in various translations, voices, and background music choices.
